Follow these guidelines to ensure that more of your images can be accepted and approved and can be sold on

What we’re looking for

Our customers are looking for beautiful, relatable, and authentic images of every day people of color. We provide them with beautiful imagery that tells stories of the people that you see every day at home, work, and on-the-go. Show us the interesting faces and expressions, locations and scenery near you. Capturing those random, special, and candid moments that make a big difference in the realness of your content as well as the wide array of features like freckles, piercings, tattoos, body shapes and sizes, disabilities, hair styles, and skin tones.

Our requirements

We will review every file you contribute to ensure it meets our technical, creative, and quality standards. If you follow the requirements, you will limit the chances of your content being rejected or changes being requested.


Images must be saved with the following specifications:

  • JPEG format

  • 300 dpi resolution

  • 4080 px minimum height or width

  • RGB color mode

Videos must be submitted with the following specifications:


  • File format: MP4 or MOV

  • Resolution: 1080p

  • Frame size: 1920 × 1080 pixels

  • FPS: 24 frames per second

  • Length: :03 - :30 seconds


  • File format: MP4 or MOV

  • Resolution: 2160p

  • Frame size: 3840 x 2160 pixels or 4096 x 2160 pixels

  • FPS: 24 frames per second

  • Length: :03 - :10 seconds

Illustrations must be submitted with the following specifications:

Vector Files

  • File format: .eps or .ai

  • Resolution: 300 ppi

  • Maximum file size: 50mb

Graphic Files

  • File format: .jpg, .png or .svg

  • Resolution: 300 ppi

  • Dimensions: 5000 x 5000 pixels or greater

  • Maximum file size: 50mb


Assets must follow the specifications:

  • The main focus, or the majority of the models in the photo must be person(s) of color from Black, Asian, Native/Indigenous racial groups, and Hispanic/Latinx, Middle Eastern cultural groups

  • Cannot contain logos, branding, company names, or product/brand names

  • No excessive editing or retouching

  • No watermarks


Model Releases

You must obtain a model release from your models before submitting your work for commercial purposes - whether they are professionals, friends, family members, or strangers on the street. More about model releases

Property Releases

A property release is a written permission from the property owner, consenting to the image use for commercial purposes. Property releases can be applied to gain permission use homes, businesses, tatoos, paintings, and graffiti in your images and videos.

Trademarks and Trade Dress

We cannot accept submissions that include trademarks or trade dress, so make sure to edit out any trademarked logos, symbols, slogans, or objects before you upload.
